Steve : Hey dude, what's up?
Hafiz : Nothin' much..... Steve : Hey nice pic you've got here ... Who's in it? Hafiz : It's a picture of a great person in my life, besides my family…..She’s my girlfriend, Miss Sakinah Ansary. She lives in PJ, Selangor. She’s 20, same as me. Steve : Oooh…..your sweetheart huh…..Any other things 'bout her? How about tellin' me her birth date? Hafiz : On 30th January 1979…. Steve : I guess she’s younger than you by 17 days. Hafiz : Yeahh....You're right! We've got a maths wizard here...[ laughs ] |

Hafiz : It was during my A-Level studies that I met her. It goes somewhere around 1997 in PPP,
ITM. We were classmates….[ silence ]
Steve : Is that all dude?
Hafiz : Well, I don’t wanna talk much on how things worked out after that. It’s a long story.
I don’t feel like going through it at the moment. Consider it as our personal matter.
Steve : Sounds reasonable…. She’s your first?
Hafiz : Yeah that’s true. Officially on 30th June '98. I’m happy with it.
Steve : Cool. Why her dude?
Hafiz : ‘Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’ Heard of it before? [ laughs ]
Steve : Yup....
Hafiz : It happened that I like her. And I still do until now. How's that?
Steve : Visibly clear, dude.
Hafiz : Cool...
Steve : Lol...Ok...I’ve been told that when it comes to romance, you’re the right kind of guy?
Hafiz : Dang it! That sucks, man. Don’t look at me….Who came up with that idea?
Steve : Nah, I just made it up....
Hafiz : I’m not that kind of person, especially whenever I go
out with her. Anyway, she doesn’t
like that kind of guy. Let’s just say I’m a well-concerned, commited and
caring type
of being. [laughs]
Steve : [ laughs ] One thing for sure, you're good with words!
Hafiz : It flows in the blood...[ smiles ]
Steve : Ok…ok… last question. Where would you put yourself and her 10 years from now?
Hafiz : What kind of question is this? Have you ever heard books by this guy called Edward
Bono or something like it? You should get yourself one! Steve, if there’s one thing I
would hope from this relationship, I want the best out of it…..
Steve : Anyway, wish all the best to both of you. Anything else you wana tell me?
Hafiz : I just wanna speak out two things: Thanks a lot to my dearest Sakinah for the sweet
things we've done together and for being compassionately kind to me. That's all I can think of it
